F.C. Como Women announces friendly match with Olympique de Marseille
Como, December 28, 2024 – F.C. Como Women is delighted to announce an unmissable event for women’s football enthusiasts. On January 4, at the team’s training center, the Sport Village in Cislago (VA), a friendly match will take place closed-door between Como Women and Olympique de Marseille Women. The club will seize the opportunity to officially launch its jersey, featuring main sponsor WeAre8, and test an innovative broadcasting format aimed at boosting audience engagement by presenting the match through a fresh, storytelling-oriented approach.
Innovative Broadcasting with DAZN
The friendly match will be broadcast exclusively and globally, live on DAZN’s platform and the DAZN Women’s Football YouTube channel, allowing fans from around the world to follow the event comfortably from home. With this initiative, F.C. Como Women aims to expand its audience and promote women’s football beyond Italy through synergy with Olympique de Marseille.
During the match, Como Women will test new content formats designed to make the match experience even more engaging. This includes live interviews with players on the bench to capture emotions and strategies directly from the field, exclusive locker room footage providing behind-the-scenes insights, and unique content created to strengthen the bond between the audience and the athletes on the pitch.
