"I am excited to be part of a top-level club with such a progressive approach to the growth of women’s soccer"

F.C. Como Women is pleased to announce the permanent arrival of American player Alexandra Catherine Kerr.
The 2001-born forward joins Como from Orlando Pride, a professional team in the NWSL (National Women’s Soccer League), the top level of women’s soccer in the United States.

Kerr began playing soccer in her teens while attending Chapel Hill High School, where she set a school record in a single season by scoring 44 goals in her sophomore year and 42 in her senior year in 2019. In the same year, she began her college career, playing for four years with the Vanderbilt Commodores before joining the Texas Tech Red Raiders in 2023. During her college career, she won 3 championships, two with Vanderbilt in the SEC (Southeastern Conference) and one with Texas Tech. In 2024, she made her NWSL debut with Orlando Pride.

"My time in Orlando truly prepared me for this opportunity at Como Women," said the American player. "I was able to play and learn from many of the best players in the world, as well as develop a winning mentality. I am very grateful for this new challenge in Italy".
