F.C. Como Women is pleased to announce the permanent signing of German midfielder Ramona Petzelberger.

The player, born in 1992, joins Como on a contract running until June 30, 2026, following the natural expiration of her contract with Tottenham. This marks her first experience in the Italian league, after playing in the Bundesliga for Bayer Leverkusen and Essen, as well as for Aston Villa and Tottenham in the Premier League.

Internationally, she represented her national team at youth levels, winning the European Championship with the Under-17 team in 2009 and the Under-19 team in 2011, where she was voted UEFA’s "Golden Player" of the final, which they won 8-1 against Norway. Petzelberger also has several call-ups to the senior German national team.

Here are her first thoughts as F.C. Como Women player:

“I’m excited to be part of this fantastic project with Como Women. I can’t wait to work with this group of talented and ambitious people in a league and country that are new to me. The journey of Como Women has just begun, and there are big goals to achieve together. I love high goals, great potential, and the club’s clear vision, and I’m happy to be part of it now.”
