From the pitch to the classroom: Victoire Cogevina Reynal brings the F.C. Como Women experience to Sports Management students

Milan, April 18, 2025 – In an international academic setting, Sportmaster Consulting, the Sports Management Master’s program at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan, hosted a special day of education and inspiration featuring Victoire Cogevina Reynal, co-CEO and co-founder of Mercury/13 and F.C. Como Women. For the first time in front of a class of students coming from the USA, Canada, Germany, Venezuela, Greece, Netherlands and Tunisia, Mercury/13 and Como Women presented a concrete example of transformation and strategic vision in women’s sports: the F.C. Como Women project.

The club stands as a model of growth, innovation, and independence in women’s football and serves as a benchmark for the next generation of sports managers. It was a valuable opportunity for students in the Master’s program, which aims to train future sports leaders in a highly international, innovative environment that prioritizes sustainable and inclusive development in the sector.

These students will hopefully become the future leaders of  the women’s football industry”. 

The Partnership with Sportmaster Consulting

The partnership between the Master’s program and Como Women reflects a convergence of shared values: internationality, inclusion, education, and sustainable development. Through real case studies like those of F.C. Como Women and Mercury/13, students have the opportunity to engage directly with the realities, dynamics, and challenges of the industry, learning from concrete and visionary experiences shared by professionals in the sports sector. Being persistent, believing in yourself and finding the way to reach a sustainable business model are the key topics Victoire shared with the students, highlighting her background and the future projects of Mercury/13 and Como Women”.
