Zara Kramzar finalist for 'Golden Girl' award
During the event held on Thursday, October 17th in Rome, at the beautiful Casina Poste venue, Zara Kramzar was announced as one of the ten finalists competing for the ‘Golden Girl’ award, which recognizes the best Under-21 female footballer playing in Europe.
The Slovenian attacking midfielder, owned by Roma, joined Como Women this summer, where she scored her first official goal against Juventus in the second matchday of Serie A eBay Women’s league.
A young talent already part of the senior Slovenian national team, at just 18 years old, she has already won a Primavera championship, an Italian Cup, an Italian SuperCup and two league titles with Roma’s first team.
Kramzar will find out if she will succeed Linda Caicedo, winner of the 2023 edition, in mid-November, when the Golden Girl will be announced. The awards ceremony will take place on December 16 in Turin.
