F.C. Como Women participating in the launch event of the Panini Album 'Calciatrici 2024-2025'

Rome, 6 February 2025 - F.C. Como Women participated in the conference presenting the first printed Panini album dedicated to the Women's Serie A. The event, held this morning at the Aleph Rome Hotel in Rome, marked a historic moment for the entire Italian women's football movement and was witnessed by significant representatives of Italian football, including the president of the FIGC Gabriele Gravina, just re-elected for the 2025-28 term, the president of the Professional Women's Serie A Division Federica Cappelletti and Panini's Italy market director Alex Bertani.

“The creation of this album marks an epochal turning point for women's football – stated Federica Cappelletti –. We are making history and this fills us with pride.” A milestone also emphasized by FIGC president Gravina, who reiterated the importance of visibility for the growth of the movement.

Also present were the head coach of the Women's National Team Andrea Soncin, the head of delegation of the men's National Team Gianluigi Buffon, that of the Women's National Team Chiara Marchitelli and Renzo Ulivieri, president of the AIAC, along with the players featured in the first historic album, one for each team.

Representing Como Women at the event, a delegation composed of player Katja Schroffenegger, Sporting Director Miro Keci, CEO Elena Mirandola and the club's head of communications Martina Giuliano.

“Today is a historic day for the growth of Italian women's football” – said the Como Women goalkeeper –. I hope that many little girls can dream of being part of it one day. For me, it is a great pride to hold the first Panini Calciatrici album and my card in my hands.”

The album, which also includes a section dedicated to Serie B and the National Team, will be promoted on the occasion of the 18th day of the Women's Serie A and the Coppa Italia semi-finals, with special initiatives in the stands and on the pitch.
